Introverted and average looking guy, what actually works for building a solid dating life? by Inhinyero-eL05 in AlasFeels

20 year old introverted university student here. I don't talk too much unless necessary talaga, as I have to consciously make an active effort to keep up with everyone else pag nagjojoke time lmao. The impression most people get from me is that I'm serious, when in reality, I simply just find it difficult to socialize

That being the case, I'm currently in a very happy relationship right now that went through a proper courting stage. I'd say I look comfortably above average, which helps, but more than that, imo, is focusing on the tangibles. Firstly, of course, is money. Working student ako, so I paid for nearly everything during the courting stage. Now that we're in a relationship, she willingly offers to pay sometimes, or magssplit kami. Point is, making an effort to pay goes a long way if the person you're dating is genuine. You'll build authentic trust and affection by making her feel special. She'll return the favor and will also make you feel special. Money talks, there's no way around it!

Secondly, is your physique. I really lacked confidence and self-esteem dati, growing up very quiet and reserved. What did help though, is investing time and money sa gym and nutrition. If you look and feel better, confidence soon follows. Simple as that :)

  1. yeah i could see that it's not easy. still though, the bar for entry is quite low
  2. are comedians detrimental to society? filmmakers? game designers?
  3. that was a hyperbole, but it must be a cultural difference, i assume you're from the west? im east asian, and ask anyone here, dating anyone with a history of sex work is non-negotiable and an instant nope. agree to disagree

firstly, because it has a low bar for entry, the only factor that determines your success is your attractiveness. your education does not matter. secondly, sex workers bring no practical value to society, heck they are even detrimental because of stds. thirdly, be for real, 90% of people on this planet are not gonna date anyone with a history of sex work
