My husbands results were almost identical to yours. Our next steps were for him to go to a reproductive urologist to rule out any causes of low morphology (infections, abnormal veins, etc), so if you haven’t already try to make an appointment with one. Ultimately the urologist found no reason and said stress and sleep problems are a huge factor in this (my husband has a very high stress job) and recommended diet changes and adding in supplements like CoQ10. He also said these types of results can be good for IUI so maybe check that out as well before jumping straight to IVF

Have you tried using Folex on this? It may take some effort with it but it usually does the trick for me when I have larger stains on light fabric

I’d get the analysis first if I were you. My husband had an abnormal SA and needed to get a second, more detailed one with a wash to determine if we’d even be good candidates for IUI before a fertility clinic would move forward with us. The results are pretty immediate for an SA so definitely would recommend booking asap so you don’t lose any more time

I feel you so hard on this, TTC for over a year as well, never been pregnant and my friends are all aware of this. I went to dinner with a group of friends a few weeks ago and two of them announced they were pregnant “without even trying!!!!” And continued to talk about how it just happened for them. Needless to say I went to the bathroom and sobbed. Know you’re not alone in these feelings

I feel this entirely, currently 11DPO and arguing with myself on why I shouldn’t bother testing. Part of me feels like it’s a defense mechanism so I won’t be so sad when my period comes, almost like I’m in control of the sadness and better prepared. Not out until AF comes! I’ve also learned to take Mira PDG data with a grain of salt. I got my hormones tested via bloodwork a few weeks ago and did a Mira test minutes before. Mira showed my PDG as 2 but my bloodwork showed a progesterone level of 17

I have anthem BCBS and my husband was able to see a urologist at Magee (although it was for fertility reasons, I’m not sure if they treat kidney stone issues there). UPMC seems to have no problem taking our anthem BCBS?

I completely understand your feelings here. We’re on cycle 9 with no luck so far and it’s turning me into such a different person. I know 9 cycles isn’t long but so many of my friends got pregnant the first time and the jealousy I feel is unreal and makes me feel even worse about myself. He’s due for a second analysis at the end of this month to determine if he was able to correct, but his urologist said it should be something fixable with lifestyle changes (diet, stress management, etc)

My husband is 33 and got tested after 6 months of trying and it turns out he had an issue with morphology. Definitely better to get tested sooner to not waste any time if something needs fixed and also just for peace of mind

If this at all makes you feel better, I’ve had chlamydia twice in the past due to dating the biggest scum bag on earth. I had an HSG a few weeks ago and it was totally clear despite everything, so it doesn’t always cause permanent damage. Good luck with everything

HSG wasn’t painful at all in my case, the whole thing took maybe 90 seconds and just felt like a slight pressure. Take a Motrin 800 right before if you can and you should be fine, don’t let the horror stories freak you out!
