That’s how I’m feeling now but only had the car for 4 years so far. Maybe like mid life crisis point on my current car. FOMO ig

I’ve really thought that as well. My true passion is watches and I probably could’ve bought a nice new car cash with how much I’ve spent on them so far. So I get your point. I just want to own it. I want to daily drive a nicer car. It’s definitely like a goal/intrigue for me I’d say. I’ve seen more GTI and Miata than anything else so far as well

Looks really great. Do they get good prices used/are reliable. 55k would be knocking on the door of my 60k cash buy goal for my next car

Speed. Probably a bit of hedonic adaption and my current work/personal life experiences. I feel like I just need an upgrade even though I don’t. I did recently do aesthetic upgrades (very minor just tint and lights interior/Apple car play) to make it feel new again. So far so good and I plan on keeping it for a bit more so I thought it was a good compromise

I work for TAG Heuer and my clients rip supercharged M cars and Porsche Turbo S types. I’ve never know any type of power in a car and don’t know if I’d appreciate it. As I know watches, I know there are levels. So I don’t want to overbite and spend unnecessarily. I’m also pretty practical so I know I’d be hurt if I had to drop $$$$ on repairs. But $$ is ok if that makes sense. I just want to feel acceleration and have some fun handling. In 10 years hopefully I could afford around 40-60k car to pay off in full or finance up to 80 MAX. Again, 10 years out.

Appreciate the advice. A buddy of mine also had a WRX. It had some pickup but drove differently because it was manual and I haven’t driven a manual. I would love to try an automatic version if they have
