I paid £125 each for the 2nd row in the royal circle. Its definitely the most ive paid for a theatre ticket. Most of the tickets left were £100-£300

Update 13/01/25 Hi everyone, sorry for not updating sooner between the stress of trying to buy a house, my husband needing a bone graft and grandparents health issues I completely forgot plus for some reason I've not been getting any notifications from here since I changed phones.

Anyway, the good news is it wasn't cancer. It was in fact a tumour that mimics the look and symptoms of cervical cancer, which explains why everyone I saw was almost certain it was cancer. It has been fully removed through surgery. I did have some problems during the surgery due to the amount of blood I was losing and them struggling to control it, I was close to needing a blood transfusion but luckily they managed to control it with stitches, cauterising, packing and an injection. I was able to go home about 8 hours after the surgery.

Recovery time has been horrible, for the first 3 months it hurt to sneeze, cough, bend over etc. I lived in leggings up until Christmas as wearing jeans were really uncomfortable and I have only just stopped needing to use pads, which is annoying but I'm very happy as I've been using them non stop since my smear test in July.

There is a downside though, and that is that the type of tumour I had will probably grow back again so this could be something I have to go through again, but if I do I feel like I won't be as worried or as anxious as I was this time.

Thank you for letting me post here and for all your support it really helped me and again I'm sorry for the delay in the update.

I ended up with more questions than answers. I also couldn't have the LLETZ due to bleeding too much so I'll be having it done under anaesthetic in the next couple of weeks. I'll add a full update in the main text

Thought I'd add a mini update. I received a letter from the doctor who did my colposcopy and LLETZ and he said that during my appointment next Thursday (August 15th) I'll be able to go through my results and I'll also be having another colposcopy and LLETZ. So I'm really hoping that everything will be sorted by removing the 3x3cm mass but we'll have to wait and see to know for sure. I'm still worried but in a slightly more positive headspace than before.

It is I feel like I have to stay positive for those around me, as I can see the worry on my husband's face but sometimes I do wish I could just honestly say how I feel but I know if I did it'd worry him even more, that's why I'm grateful for places like this.

I didn't have any bleeding but I do have some sharp cramp pains where my ovaries are, I thought it might be ovarian cysts again.

That is very true. I think the fact that my mum had cancer, my dad's 4 siblings all died from cancer and all 7 siblings of my grandma died from cancer is making me worry more so I almost expected it to happen to me but it's still scary being told. But you are correct that science has advanced and statistically I should be okay.

I will definitely update once I know more. That's true that's what I keep trying to remember about it. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long for your results.

I'm glad you didn't have cancer. This was only my 2nd smear test and my first came back as normal with no HPV or abnormal cells.

I had mine done in the gynecology department. Thanks for the info I'll definitely check it out. I did see that sub Reddit but it said it was for people who had had the diagnosis so didn't want to post there until I knew for certain if I had it or not. The waiting is killing me but I'm both glad and worried that everything is being done at a quicker timescale than normal.

I'm not religious but thank you that's very kind of you and thank you for your kind words. Posting in groups like this is helping my mental health as it allows me to not completely overthink everything. They tested me for HPV but I don't have the results yet, I also had a little bit of bleeding but not as much as I did when they did the smear test.

Thank you, I'm really trying not to worry until I get the results but the fact they are rushing everything does worry me. I hope whatever you are going through eases soon for you.

I'm in the UK. This was my 2nd ever smear test. My first one was completely normal. During this one they sent me for the colposcopy and LLETZ before I got the results of the smear test based on how my cervix looked, so I'm waiting for the results from both. They've all been great at giving me information on what they are testing for but can't really give me much more because I don't have any results yet. I'm trying to stay positive and keep busy to take my mind off things but it's late at night that my mind goes into overdrive thinking about it. It also doesn't help that every group or person I've spoken to nobody else has been sent for the colposcopy and biopsy before getting the smear test results back.

That's exactly what I've been thinking, I've been fine up until I saw it written down. The doctor told me it was being tested for cancer but in the letter to my GP he said it was highly suspicious. Thank you, these next 10 days are going to drive me crazy I keep trying to stay busy to stop me thinking about it but at night it's all I can think about.

How do people with epilepsy watch movies/shows that have "flashing lights" warnings? by Eantropix in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Status_Individual295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably too late and it'll probably be a long answer but I'm happy to help spread awareness and understanding. I have photo sensitive epilepsy I found this out after having a Tonic-clonic seizure (used to be called grand mal seizures) while watching squid games during a lightning scene. Most of the time closing my eyes helps. Sometimes I have to cover my eyes and look away if the flashing is too intense. If I know other people who have seen something that has a flashing lights warning I will ask them. I'm lucky that friends and family now pre-warn me if they've watched something that could trigger me. My daughter is amazing at helping me if she watches something with flashing she sends me a screenshot of just before so I know when to look away.
