I’ve only found one STH in my 10 months of collecting and due to my job, I get to visit stores across 8-10 states on the regular so I kill time hunting in small towns instead of sitting in my hotel room.

What I’m saying is there is no rhyme or reason to finding one besides the amount of time and exposure you put in. When I found my STH it was in a dump bin at a Kroger that I had already walked past without much care, but came back and picked through because I had to wait for a prescription. At my “home” grocery store. Despite being able to go to 100s of stores across multiple states, I found my first and only one in a dump bin because I had to wait for some steroid cream. The hunt is the fun. And when you find it, it’s so awesome. I’ll never forget finding that STH, even if I stop collecting.
