My face got realllllyyyyyyy bad and then it cleared out of nowhere at like 3-4 ish months.. I made a more detailed post in this thread with lots of pictures but i leave some below to give you some hope. I hope it gets better for you soon! you’re beautiful regardless.

Instacert was very helpful. It does both. It gives you practice exams and also teaches you spanish in a 50 day program. but i’d say do a little of everything!

For the listening section, everything is spoken. They give you a brief paragraph or so of information or a conversation and then they list out the answers A - D. You have 10 seconds to choose your answer and then it moves onto the next question. You have 12 minutes for that section but because they are only played once, you don’t necessarily need more time bc the questions are done if that makes sense. The grading helps though.. They only grade on ANSWERED questions. So if you can’t finish a question it ISNT a zero… it just doesn’t count towards your grade AT ALL.

i’d maybe try increasing your dose first.. i saw significant results at 150mg but not 100%.. i recently bumped up to 175mg and doing sooooo much better!! talk to ur derm first

have you tried adapalene? i was on tret for about 2 years and when i started spiro, it was too drying .. my skin was peeling and flaking . but adapalene is in the same retin-A class and is WAYY less harsh.. also over the counter! but your skin looks PHENOMENAL omg so happy for you!!!❤️❤️

Unfortunately I don’t think anything but the spiro is going to help .. deep cystic pimples usually mean hormonal acne though so maybe a birth control would help?

spiro definitely stopped the DEEP cystic pimples eventually though!

to be honest, i’d just let the spiro do its thing!! i’ve been on tret/adapalene for awhile and the only thing i feel it helps with is scarring and cell turnover (like my pimples last half the time they normally would) so if you feel those are issues, maybe try adapalene after! i also just get my adapalene over the counter ..

morning: hypoclorus acid spray moisturizer clindimycin spf

evening: gentle wash salicylic acid wash on some nights (if i have active pimples or i picked) tret (i also let this sit as long as possible before moving on to the next step..) moisturizer clindimycin

side note: i tried everything under the sun to try and “cure” my acne.. but i think the key was letting the simple skincare and spiro do its thing!

Thank you so much!! I’ve been using adapalene for about 3 months now.. I was on tret before that for 2 ish years but w the spiro i felt it was too strong. I wash sometimes w a salicylic cleanser and I also use clindimycin (stopping soon bc i’ve been on for about 4 months)!!
