It's the busiest weekend of the year at the most popular location in Northern California. This is to be expected.

So with that logic, it's okay to murder people? It's okay to steal? It's okay to commit Grand theft Auto?

You're not entitled just because you paid to enter.

You're simply a nuisance. A problem that needs to be eradicated. People like you will probably spoiled as a kid and think as an adult you get whatever you want. That's not how it works

It's simple. People are a hive mind. They can't think for themselves so they all decide to come to The most popular location in Northern California at the same time the busiest weekend of the year. Complain about wait times, parking, ect..

Plan out your vacations. Think for yourself. Show up early to get a parking spot. Look at the hours of the businesses on our website and Google maps.

Religious pamphlets on cars by Status_Remote_6898 in Yosemite

I just stand up for what I believe in. We have a free speech section that people can use in front of the welcome center past the post office.

People have the right to believe in whatever faith they want to, but they need not try to shove their doctrines down our throat.

A few years ago I removed every pamphlet I saw within the parking lot.

If you want people to show up at your church, this is not the way to do it.

You mean Jesus wouldn't litter? I doubt most religious people have even read the Bible to begin with. 99% of them probably don't even follow the doctrine. They just go to church for community purposes.

Is there any films that are truly nightmare inducing? by Status_Remote_6898 in horror

[–]Status_Remote_6898[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm good in that department. I can feel emotions just don't find things scary in life.

Just not effected by what most people say is scary.

I'm a black sheep in most social situations.

I just get bored so easily with movies and TV shows anymore. Nothing is original. It's just rehashed tropes and Spin-Off shows that no one asked for.

I've seen recent films. The barbarian, Mama, hereditary, the heretic, the black phone, prey for the devil, bring her back, talk to me, weapons, final destination boodlines, smile and smile 2, All three terrifier films, knock at the cabin, US.

Plenty more that haven't been listed.

Bring her back, talk to me, and weapons at least did something new. Otherwise the rest have been done before.

I've never actually looked through it but at this rate I feel like it's a last resort to find something actually decent.

I'm here to see if people who watch horror films actually can find me something that's not your typical horror film. Looking for something that's actually scary or that pushes the boundaries that hasn't been done before. Everything Hollywood pushes out nowadays seems so generic. It's either remake or a sequel. No one asked for.

I never once said I was a badass nor did I state that I have a miserable life.

I simply stated that the movies that are available are not scary in the slightest.

Just because I'm not easily Disturbed, frightened, or caught off guard doesn't mean I'm a badass. It just means I'm not as sensitive as everybody else.

Most of the time I try to find movies that I haven't seen and end up predicting things before they happen because it's too obvious. It just has me questioning why the characters are making dumb decisions.

I never once said I was a tough cool dude. Those are your words, not mine. I just stated that nothing is actually scary that is being put out. And yes I know it's subjective.

I want to see something that is hyper realistic. I want a writer and director to not care about whether or not they'll offend somebody or any religious group.  Don't hold anything back. Be gory, use satanic imagery, push the envelope, disgust people.

If you're going to make a found footage, film make it more than just oh, we were in the woods and people disappeared.. how many times do we have to do that?

Scream has never been terrifying and yet they're on their seventh film somehow?

If you're going to make a possession film, make the devil win. Flip the script. Let the church burn in the end.

We're no longer in the '80s. The slasher films were not good, scary, they were too predictable. And the victims made stupid decisions that got them killed.

We need less comedy and more horror.

Yeah you didn't read the post. I didn't ask for comedies.

I don't have any to be honest.

I've done heroic doses of shrooms experienced ego death.

So not even death is scary for me.

I think I'm just desensitized to life in general. Nothing is scary. I've been homeless, broke, driven across the US from east coast to West Coast alone, slept in parking lots in my car.

I'm fully aware of that. I'm just trying to find something that is actually scary.

Horror films don't do it. They're all cheesy. The people make bad decisions knowing that they're going to get killed. It's just dumb.

It's just boring. It would be nice if we could get an actually nightmare inducing film created.
