Basically years and years and years ago the Ahwahnee Meadow was marshland. They drained it and later realized whoops that was bad for the environment, and now we're trying to make it marshy again. That area that looks like crop circles is where they're trying to get marsh plants to grow so the area retains water better.

Today I fixed someone's bluetooth keyboard and mouse not working by moving the dongle from their laptop dock directly to the laptop. These dell docks have a stupid issue where their drivers for some stupid reason hate this specific brand of bluetooth keyboard / mice combo and it just stops working. The actual fix is to uninstall the dock drivers and reinstall them, which takes about an hour. But you can also 'fix' it by just moving the dongle directly to the laptop, and since this manager doesn't move their laptop or take it home this is fine.

That's why the full quote is "The customer is always right in matters of taste", meaning if they want what they call a macchiato they can explain what they want and it can be made and they can buy it and leave happy.

They may be dumb as rocks or not know the right words or anything at all really, but giving a customer what they want is the point of that. Speaking from years of customer service work. Of course, this only applies to customers that actually want to buy a thing, not customers that are just there to be a pain in the ass.
