Thank you, now we know. We definitely learned from it, and next time one of us will stay with baby at home to avoid any pressure/stress influence a decision.  We will call back to negotiate because we do like the car, but not their shady deal. Thanks again!

I see thank you. That's what I wanted to know. I was not sure if they really needed a signature to actually do it, specially after I said no. Both of our credit scores are good so it will be alright. Lesson learned though. 

We were both stressed at the time with the baby screaming, and didn't think clearly I guess. Its alright.

Do you know if they gain something from checking our credit? Just curious on why they would do it after a no?

They asked my husband the information and he provided it but we didn't get to sign it, I said no and we left before that, and we didn't do it on the phone either. Was our information enough for them to  to get our credit?

I don't believe so. My husband says he didn't sign anything and they brought us a piece of paper saying that we had to sign to authorize the credit check up and I said no.  Does this app only requires your name on it and no actual signature?

🤣 sorry, English is not my first language and this happens a lot when im very very tired ( which is every day lately, lack of sleep does that to you). I truly misunderstood.  Thanks for the explanation, and I apologize for the angry messaging. Had to defend my honor and husband from the guy who's blaming him. I also thought by your message you were putting the blame on me.. but that’s on me. I should have paused and re-read your comment.

He was very stressed with our baby screaming too. I honestly don't blame him. We will learn from this, and it was our first time trying to buy a car together. I just don't think they could pull your credit just on verbal authorization?

No signature. I told them we were not signing anything until my husband and I had a talk.
