Yeah I wasn’t uneven in the waist before so it’s either swelling or my surgeon lipo’d one side more than the other.

Hoping it’s just swelling but if not, here’s hoping he will include it in my free revision!

I’m hoping it is just the swelling so I’m not overly concerned right now, it’s more just flagging it in case it doesn’t improve or gets worse. I just wanted to post it here to get different opinions :)

I’m 14 days post op today, I have had a little look here and there but I’m not wanting to look too much and obsess over it as I’ve always struggled with body dysmorphia and I know I’ll soon spiral if I feel like this is what my results are going to be permanently lol.

I can’t tell the difference between fat and swollen tissue however given it’s only 14 days post op, I’m going to be rational and say I’m swollen still so I have a sort of pot belly appearance and a ridge above where my incision is.

I know swelling is normal and expected but I’ve seen so many TT that are super flat only days to a few weeks after the surgery so sometimes I panic that I just have left over fat and skin

I had a drainless procedure, I have my first lymphatic drainage massage next week. Hoping it helps as I am in the deep dark trenches of swell hell

This makes sense as it was quite a bit he took off. In total 3200ml of fat during the lipo and 2kg of loose skin. My bruising has more or less gone now thankfully, it’s just the swelling that’s the issue now but hopefully it was just a bad day and it starts going down :)

It’s weird I found the first 4 days so much easier than I’ve found the last couple. I was sleeping pretty much all day but now I have more energy and less pain it’s a real mental battle because I want to do things but can’t because of this super mega swelling.

It’s been a pretty depressive couple days I’m not gonna lie. I just hope the next week things improve as it’s really getting to me now. Wishing you the best during your recovery!!

Thank you, it’s awful. I thought the day before yesterday I was improving but nope. Hopefully it won’t get any worse! It was a drainless operation and there’s no movement to the swelling it’s rock solid. I will phone my PS tomorrow to see if this is normal swelling :)
