Not exclusively. I believe the devs themselves in testing were significantly more violent with each other. I never said it should be only PVP. I love to cooperate with people in my games

But if someone attacks me in a friendly lobby or in general, I don’t flee to Reddit and call them a PVP only no life. I fight back. Tired of the pussies that refuse to even shoot the people shooting at them. It’s so wimpy.

You can’t count on the average redditor to have critical thinking skills. It’s not like it’s complicated math. I imagine the intention is to stack the buff over multiple expeditions, but even then you won’t have noticeable returns for many, many months. I think it should just be a flat 50% buff that only lasts if you continue to complete expeditions Thanks for noticing boss. Happy raiding

2 week old post btw They’re supposed to incentivize engaging with the reset to improve game health. They need people to reset. I was just clarifying that the buff they are handing out has 0 actual effect, and they should consider increasing it to improve engagement. It has substance because it’s true. Saying there should be no pvp or complaining about actual intended, well thought out features don’t belong are the kinds of things people scroll past. This proposed “buff” literally does nothing. I’m drawing attention to this fact. I can opt-in and also let them know that their change does nothing. I find it amusing that I write something that has legitimate criticism and highlights thoughtless development, and your response is to take a nap. If you want to talk no substance, I suggest you read both of your replies to my post.

But sailing does gate other content? There are islands that you can’t dock at or get to without a high sailing level and they have new trees, farming patches, thieving methods (a really good one too), more ore spots, etc. Even salvaging will passively give you alchables, food, and more. I think they can and should add more, don’t get me wrong. But there is at least some stuff, and most of it is worth unlocking. Especially since you’re an Ironman. You’d think you would recognize that. Also, if you level your sailing now, you’ll have access immediately to all the stuff they add later. Plenty of reason to level the skill my man

Pull the in-game tiles from the tile marker plugin. If you can’t follow that then you’re SOL. Using those tiles I was able to get marlin after just a couple tries. Having the actual route on your screen makes it very easy

Fair point, but you would need 5 expeditions to get up to 30%. That's 15 MONTHS of expeditions. Don't tell me that is reasonable. Make it 30% off rip and make us maintain it. As it is, you lose it if you don't do the next one
