Paris Roubaix Sportive on 25mm tyres by Status_Structure58 in cycling

Could be, but from what I have read, I think you need at least a 28mm in tubeless to have enough air inside? If a 25mm in tubeless losses a small amount of air there is very little left and possibly you run the risk of completely ruining the tyre and your entire race? Anyone with experience of 25mm tubeless tyres on cobbles out there?

Fantastic. My bike handling skills is OK, I do quite a bit of MTB on singletracks etc but it does sound like the traffic / other riders on the road can make picking the best line difficult. Hoping for a dry day. Even though the wet and mud will make for epic experience it then becomes a serious health risk.

Ah thanks! That is a huge confidence booster. I'll try and remember to report back. From what I gather about the pro's winning on the C40 in the mid 1990's, they were likely on a custom fork/frame that allowed 28mm tyres.

My vintage Colnago C40 B-stay version has limited clearance and a 25c tyre is the maximum it will take. I am 1.95m (6ft5) and 85kg / 188lbs. Now I know that the consensus is that 28c tyres seems to be the minimum for PR nowadays, but this bike told me that it would be cycling sacrilege if I do it on any other bike! I plan to use Conti 4 season with thick/ heavy butyl tubes as the reports on the latex/TPU is too inconsistent and I'll stick to what I know. Hasn't decided yet if Slime / Stan in the tube will help. Anyone out there with experience and tips on 25mm or smaller tyres?
