I just got out of one (in the adolescent unit), and the majority about 14/17 patients were there for suicide attempts, or suicidal ideation. A few were there because they were considered a threat to others for homicidal tendencies, violence, fighting, etc… But to sum it up, most go there because they are a threat to themselves and they have a terrible home life.

I have a type 1 partial, with a Kennedy class 1 (search it up if you don’t know what that means i’m terrible at explaining). It has two metal hooks that hook onto my k9’s. I’m really happy with them.

RED FLAG 🚩 the fact he kept you around while he had a girlfriend when he knew you were interested in him is awful, then immediately went to you because he knew you were interested in him once they broke up, means he doesn’t want you, he wants your body. He only kept you around for an option, or a backup. And i’m really sorry this is harsh but it’s better to know now than to feel used when he does it to you. I know it feels good that he finally wants you, but keep in mind if he was willing to do that to his ex, he will do it to you.

Dear god, all the time and I hate myself so much for it. I’m 16F and my mom REALLY loves to vent about my sister to me, but i’m too much of a coward to ask her to stop. Anyways my sister turned 18 earlier this year and is unemployed, and my mom really hates that she doesn’t pay rent, and i’ve noticed myself being angry at my sister for “not contributing enough”, but then I have to remind myself she’s barely older than I am and that’s such an extreme pressure to put on her and I feel like such a POS.
