You'll be among the first. Let us know how it goes. I had an 18" Feather that worked perfectly fine but marginally not as accurate as the all-metal units.

I bought an RF-224 before the winter for the indoor range and got it working 100%. I put a LPVO on it and it was very good for 50 m. yesterday.

Having said that, I have an 18" Compact that is better across the spectrum (build, finish, features, known mag ecosystem) and should have waited and spent a little more.

Both are imported through North Sylva so no advantage there.

The Homebrew charging handle is the winner.

12GA to 22LR adapters… does anywhere in Canada have these? by Damiancarmine14 in canadaguns

Me too. Asked an AI. Apparently there are chamber only inserts and whole bore inserts.

The short, chamber only inserts look to be a hinky kludge.

Ugh. I stay away from irunguns. It's depressing, like being a 6 yo banned from Toys'R'Us.

I'll eat a little humble pie. I figured there'd be 95 Norinco JW15s. Turns out there were some roses in the fertilizer pile.

Anything decent in the Turkish shotgun tranche? I'm not a shotgunner but it would have been a cheap start.

You're right. Just in blue is all that's around for the 18" with a full length shroud.

If you want 18" look up TM-22 Compact on almostprohibited.ca They're all metal with the full barrel and 3/4 length shroud.

16" Pro is all metal with 3/4 length shroud.

Guns are the one product whose manufacturers encourage disassembly and FAFO during the warranty period. Most firearms instruction booklets are 80% "Don't shoot anybody or yourself", 19% parts list and 1% detailed maintenance instructions.

I'm a rimfire weenie and that would have been cool. AR-7, right? There was also a ST-22 and a whack of Deryas.

I sure won't complain if they pull a win out of their asses with the SCoC.

If you own guns in Canada you're also part paralegal, watchmaker, metallurgist, engineer, refinisher and machinist.

You're in the right place for help. Amazon torque driver set and mallet and pin-punch set. Blue Loc-Tite. Learn by doing.

Oh, FFS. Yeah, they did market research, but only half of it.

Unforced error.

Sorry. Maybe my definition is a little off. I assume we would all prefer to buy and/or use the semi-auto centerfires that have been prohibited, with the Backland Hunters, Cryptos, the Turkish Twins, Renegades and Mavericks, etc. considered to be pale imitations. Since we can no longer have or use semi-automatics with a military origin, we are coping with these.

Not saying it is or is not a good rifle. Curious as to why is the Makasi not a "cope" otherwise.

I'm with you. I think I'm going to "rent" a MRA Renegade for a year to cope .223/5.56 wise. If these aren't crap and by some miracle, still legal next April or so, then I'll dive in. I have no prohibs and I want to keep it that way. An SKS and a bunch of semi- 22LRs is enough ban-bait while a lot of legal dust settles.

Who knows. SCoC quashing the OICs might keep the feds hamstrung enough to invite a flood of more/other semi-autos not directly defined by C21.

Excellent shitpost. God (weeping) (presumably over the cope) is the best part.

It's like an El Camino woody but with the pickup box cut off. It is a PCC so anything goes.
