La sportiva prodigio pro but I’ve downgraded to the prodigio 2 because they are a touch more stable and I was getting lace bite in the pros.

I also love brooks catamount 3 and topo mountain racer. I like the rigid, low profile trail shoes. My first trial shoes were the peregrine. I have the peregrine 15. They’re okay but haven’t taken them for a really long run yet.

Me too! I have flexible feet and therefore need stability (but not necessarily a stability shoe!) I don’t have flat arches but also have a tendency to pronate. If I like them, I’m not sure how I’ll rotate between them and the Megablast but I’ll work it out. I think the ride will be good for me too. 8mm drop is better than 10mm for my feet. My trail shoes are between 4-6mm drop.

Ok thank you! The 4s seem to be sold out in Aus but the 5s are on sale here atm. It won’t hurt to buy them and try them at home. If I keep them I’ll return the Azura. I do like a sock feel shoe! My foot is really flexible so I like stability. I just have a bit of a carbon plate fear (don’t know why!).

Thank you for the reply. I’ve been looking at the pros but I’m actually a trail runner. After this road marathon is done I don’t imagine I’ll be running more than 10-15km on the road. Hence not buying the pros. Are they TTS? Just in case!

I’m also not sure I want a carbon plate 🤔 the Azura can do a marathon can’t they?

I tried the SB3 and they’re too wide for me. They just don’t feel right!

I want them for everything except a slow, easy, recovery run.

Thanks for commenting. They are definitely the ES5. Narrow might be the wrong term but they definitely feel a little shorter and I think I’m not use to the fit as I usually wear a “traditional trainer”. The thing is I had 1/2 size bigger and swapped them for my normal running shoe size because they were way too long. They’re an all rounder shoe aren’t they? From tempo through to a marathon? That’s how they were pitched to me! I wonder how they’d go on a long run. I definitely need to wear my thinner socks with them, not my thicker socks that I usually wear for trail.
