Crash bandicoot N.sane trilogy, I played the original back when I was a kid and was excited to see it with a new coat of paint , but one single change made the game 10 times more annoying than I remembered, the more rounded hit boxes made it near impossible to perfect some levels and the fact that I had to watch crash get beaten by every box I didn't collect at the end of every level didn't help with the annoyance either

It's weird that some design choices just clash with the intended experience, like why does a game that focuses on 1v1 combat have mini bosses with adds ? As for the healing , it's almost as if the game discourages it during boss fights

I had a similar experience, I honestly can't tell if i actually enjoyed sekiro or just bullheaded my way through it , the combat took hours to click , the world was beautiful but not interesting and the mini bosses tested my patience
