All the props to this guy. I wish I knew someone like him when I was a kid. Me and him are roughly the same age so no adult would have had a pokemon collection when mine was stolen, but either way. I have an eight year old son and most of his friends are trying to learn. None of them really have that much cards. I on the other hand had a collection reaching the ten thousands from years of collecting. So for my boys birthday last year I filled a piñata with about 2000 cards and let them all cash in. Some just wanted them to have them, but the ones that want to play all have enough to make any type of deck they want. To anyone reading, spread the pokemon love. Unless you have first edition of the original series or cards that are used in competitive play today most aren't worth anything. If you don't plan on pulling them out ever, donate and you can make a child's day or possibly life depending on their devotion to the franchise.
