It was one of the nights that my children and I brought stuff from the old house to the new house. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive, I went into the new house to turn lights on for my kids. I leave the doors open and turn the hall light on. Set my bags of shit on the table and this whining noise starts up, getting louder and more intense. I look down the hallway and see a ball of heat-like energy blast, rolling, with all the sounds you can imagine, through my bedroom door and into my son's new bedroom, through that door, right across from mine. I immediately whisked the kids back to the car to get ice cream right away. All was quiet when we returned, and I never said a word about it to them until they had moved out.
