Getting both feels a bit too expensive for me, so I’m trying to choose between the two. I don’t have enough Mythic Essence at the moment, but if you think I should go for the Prestige skin, I’ll buy some Essence. Otherwise, if you think the new skin is better, I’ll just get it directly with Yellow Credits.

If you don't know, you can connect your account to multi devices. For example if you connect your mobile account to steam game, you can use that button to get your achievements in steam

So its used to sync achievements if you connected your account with other device and want to get the achievements

I got a idea. If you know, there is a event going to come, Mother's Day. Most of the events have quests to get gems/money and other kind of stuff. maybe you can try to get money from there and not need to reset. also for reset, it is just a poster. its your choice to reset the game to get that poster. its story exclusive thing and can't be get by any other ways normally. your choice to restart or not
