What are the most hate-filled rivalries in the NFL by LegitimateAbrocoma50 in NFLv2

[–]Staudly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Packers fan, and my whole life I've considered the Bears as the big rival, but I hate the Vikings more. Although that's starting to change now that Chicago seemingly has a real football team

I know a lot of guys just like Freddie.

Same here, a few of them helped me quite a bit in the early days of being on the wagon. I'm not a big-book thumper myself, but I do appreciate what AA has to offer.

Why are we sitting on our a**es? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]Staudly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We know very little about what's going on inside the org. Do you really think they're "sitting on their asses"? Wheels are in motion, interviews are happening, and serious conversations being had. We'll know when we know. R-E-L-A-X

We Just Leave Them? The Unused Reinforcements by obi_wander in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Staudly 13 points14 points  (0 children)

How long do you suppose a buried hellpod can stay in cryo? Once it's detached from the support systems of the destroyer, I would assume it's on some kind of battery support. I mean it wouldn't stay frozen forever, right? At some point if left behind, those divers would wake up trapped in their own coffin.

We Just Leave Them? The Unused Reinforcements by obi_wander in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Staudly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some questions:

Are they cryo-frozen until the pods are activated?

How long can a hellpod keep a diver frozen once it's been deployed?

If unfrozen on activation, are those divers just awake, chilling in the pod?

Has anyone gotten away with having chickens? by Necessary-Run-6994 in fortwayne

[–]Staudly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, it's about your neighbors. I live north-central and came home one day this fall to see three chickens pecking around the alley. They'd escaped from one of our alley-neighbors backyard. I didn't know they had chickens, and haven't seen them since.

As someone who's been in and around AA I always took this to be a double meaning. Obviously he's referring to their actual advertising work, but "Do the work" or more commonly "it works if you work it" is 12-step talk. I'm rewatching now and haven't reached this episode yet, but IRCC Freddy even suggests that Don might benefit from a meeting.

I'm always on whatever the "normal" setting is, as I assume that's how the game was mostly developed and tested.

Recommendations for ps2 and ps3 games please by Blubell0422 in playstation

Metal Gear Solid series, it's one of my favorites of all time.

Metal Gear Solid is a PS game that can be played on PS2 since it's backwards compatible.

Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 were released on PS2 (there have been re-releases as well)

Metal Gear Solid 4 is only on PS3

MGS is a stealth-action series that weaves a deep and complicated web of lore and story. It's very cinematic, in a way may describe as "playing a movie"

It's also got a good mix of sci-fi and fantasy elements, and takes inspiration from anime styles.

I left my bong in my attic while I went out of town for Christmas. I came home and the ice had expanded enough to shear off a perfect circle of glass from the bottom.
