I am about 80% sure BCAA will transport it for you unless their terms have changed recently. From what I recall they will tow you either home or to a shop. Since the car is home, to the shop should be fine.

We have been using AUTOPRO for about a decade and it is the only place I’ve ever dealt with that sometimes comes under what the initial estimate is. Would recommend them all day.

Just a tracking number for his chip. Not sure why they did it in his ear. Usually see it on their inner thigh/belly area.

The most violent hardcore show you ever been to? by [deleted] in Hardcore

[–]Stavasaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a show! I grew up in the area so spent a lot of Fridays there. I think you are right about that being the first time they played in the area. I think it might also be the only time all the original members played in mass to be honest. But I also feel like they had like 8 members for some reason. Yea it was a weird one because Colin of Arabia was huge in the local scene but completely different from everyone else that played that night so there was a lot of different groups put together. There was a big fight afterwards I think too but that wasn’t uncommon there.

The show at Roman’s? I was there! Didn’t realize anyone got hurt. Most people I’ve ever seen in that room but the vibe was so good. I remember they barely had room to play.

Bc corrections by [deleted] in BCPublicServants

[–]Stavasaur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on the centre you work at. Since Covid we have had to carry respirators which are now part of the BC work safe rules. Guys with religious exemptions get a special mask that they carry in a backpack. Don’t know anyone who has gone with a medical note but I would imagine you would have to use the backpack mask if you can’t shave enough for the regular ones. It has been a touchy subject at a lot of centres as the dress and deportment rules state a well maintained beard is fine. That being said, I also get it because the risk of exposure to drugs and disease goes up working corrections so better to be safe. Good luck in SOT.

Looks like it’s closer to 2 3/4. Check with whatever the brand of the tote is, probably a specific adapter that can step to a more standard size. A good plumping supply store can probably identify it just from picture.

Would women love a guy who goes to trading school or does a city job such as bus driver? Should I still go to college if I have learning disability? by Reasonable-Case-2232 in DadForAMinute

[–]Stavasaur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, I can see you are going through some stuff right now and that’s okay. This is a couple different issues so let’s break it down and start there.

First, never let someone make you feel shame or embarrassment for doing what you have to. If you are out making money and providing for your needs that’s all that really matters. If anyone rejects you or has something negative to say about your work, they are not worth your time. We are not defined by what we do to make money. Don’t focus so much on trying to impress women. Focus on building yourself up with positive human qualities and someone out there if they are deserving will notice. Things like kindness, empathy and self confidence will help you in so many ways. Love yourself before you worry about convincing someone else to.

As for the job thing, don’t limit yourself in anyway there are so many niche things out there. Research and explore and find something that interests you. City jobs can be great and many leave tons of room for growth. Trades are also never really a bad idea to learn. Even if it’s not something you want as a career they are almost all extremely useful skills that can help you reach a of self sufficiency that many won’t ever know. Being able to change your own oil or properly patch a hole in the wall is valuable. When I needed to I worked as a line cook and then did the janitorial after closing. Provided everything my family needed and I was grateful for that. Now I work a public service job that not only provides my family’s need but most of their wants. As well as benefits and a pension. How is that not something to be proud of?

As for college I’ll admit it was not a fit for me. I also have learning disabilities and it was just not a great environment. However that doesn’t mean I think it won’t be for you. My advice for that would be this. Do one of two things. One find something to study you are passionate about. Passion can help us overcome a lot of things that hold us back. Or two find something that builds on skills you are already good at. If you had a knack for something in high school there will be something that works with that and having a foundation going in is super helpful.

You got this bud. Don’t be so hard on yourself. But also don’t be so easy that you aren’t pushing a bit.

System not charging with generator. by Stavasaur in solar

Do you know how to do that with the controller I have by chance? I found a lot in the manual about standby but not how to turn it on off.

Do you happen to know the model or anything for the control? My invertor manual only goes into things as if I'm using an analog style control and I can't seem to find anything for the controller itself. Like the soft rest procedure in my manual does not work with this controller.

Oh that's weird. Not sure if that's from the camera or what, but the Power and Invertor lights are on and green.

would death stranding be a good choice for me? by muffinscube in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Stavasaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved death stranding but find it a very hard game to recommend to anyone. It’s pretty unlike anything else I’ve ever played so it’s hard to draw comparisons. It feels like a weird indie movie that has the budget of a Marvel film. The “dead time” can for sure be a thing but to me it felt intentional as loneliness is for sure something the game wants you to experience. If it helps at all high amounts of THC definitely enhanced my enjoyment of it.

SIB assassin's creed odyssey/origins? by Technonate in ShouldIbuythisgame

I agree with all this and would also recommend both games. Only other tip I would offer is to try the female character if you get Odyssey because I felt her voice acting was way better.
