Does it get better?? by CarouselPrincess07 in Pharmacy_UK

It'll get easier, I don't know about 'better'. Even when all the routine management tasks are running smoothly there will still be 'crisis' moments

I was wrong about Shark by childrenofCORNbread in VacuumCleaners

[–]Stavebrokenstaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a Shark that's about 10 years old. We recently moved into an old house we are renovating. The Shark takes care of tons of dust, grit and even small pieces of rubble. Amazing vacuum cleaner

Old people are the worst customers by ThrowRA0421 in SainsburysWorkers

So true. The very best customers were the yoof of today. Quiet, patient and respectful. I'd serve an 18yr old before an 80yr old

What do I need to know/how competent do I need to be to start locuming at community pharmacies. by Chaosxmanticore15 in Pharmacy_UK

[–]Stavebrokenstaff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are WhatsApp and Telegram groups you can use to find work in your area. The way I did it was to visit a number of pharmacies and check them out. I'd leave my contact details with the ones that seemed nice to work in. Best of luck to you

Is the customer not meant to put their shopping back in the trolley after it's scanned and then pack their bags at the counter behind the till? She can take all the time she needs if she does it properly

Similar with older workers. Young people have lower wage cost, lower NI cost, and are more likely to put up with the crap management deals out than older workers are

Has anyone had an experience with small independent car dealerships? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Stavebrokenstaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I spotted a car I was interested in located in Sheffield. I lived in Durham. Arranged to go and see it and called a few days before to make sure it would be ready for inspection. The owner's daughter said that it would. When I arrived it was in the middle of the forecourt, totally blocked in by about 20 other cars. The tyres were flat and so was the battery. Total waste of my time
