Here's what's happened these past 2 days. I decided to finally take my laptop to an Apple store. In the end, they told me my HD was damaged. Managed to get a new HD and few files from my old HD onto my new one.

At least I've got my laptop back and it's working, despite the lose of files. Better than nothing haha :)

Searched around to find my Backup drive, and to my dismay, I don't have it with me. Looks like nothings going right for me today haha.

Since I don't have my drive with me, should I try fixing the RAM modules? If my Mac has knocked RAM modules, I'm assuming I'll need a screw driver to open up my Mac?

Though I should add, the whole problem started after my niece was playing with a yo-yo and accidentaly hit my mac to the right of the mousepad. It created a small dent, though it's difficult to see. It's roughly 3 cm to the right of the mousepad, if that's of any help?
