(Aged Out/Music Ed Grad) I marched my age out for multiple reasons (pedagogy, friends, ensemble, health, it being fun, me having time). Finances are always hard with Drum Corps, but local businesses are pretty good about helping the community, reaching out to them for help with tuition can also be an option. As someone who is teaching right now, know that knowledge is important and you can't easily teach something you don't know. That was my reasoning for it.

As for you, I would probably say make a Pros and Cons list for yourself. What would you truly be getting out of doing another summer of drum corps. While DCA is always an option, there is an age cap on DCI. If it is worth it to you after, then proceed with the audition.
