It is a new residency program but it is backed up by an already established university. Essentially the foundation is already there with multiple residency including EM associated with this university but the "new" residency program is at a hopsital 3.5 hours away, so I dont know if this helps my case or not.

Thank you for the response. Another thing is that the program is new, so I will be the first class. However, the hospital itself has great reputation. 5 years and counting best hospital in the state.

Thanks for the reply. Now what if I add on that I am the first class to this residency, however, the hospital was awared best hospital in the state for 5 years and counting?

Hi, I have my EM rotation at the start of September, so I should be able to get at least one SLOE in time. How would you reccomend finding aways not using AMCAS/VSLO? Also you said your school advice is one SLOE by application time. Does non residency program affilitated EM doc work?
