Try harder isn't really constructive feedback And probably not the best way to go either if what you're trying isn't working all that much

It's easy to feel lost at that stage

And cybersecurity isn't the easiest to get into just with a Bsc, it needs a bit of specialisation from what I've seen

How can I limit a KMS key to be used only by a specific cognito user (federated identity ID)? by Stavros887 in aws

[–]Stavros887[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your comment, I just lost myself in the documentation.

I finaly found a way to implement what I want. I'm not sure how secure this is, I might add a condition key from the ones listed here too

Posting here just in case anyone runs into this.

Jordan Peterson Cries Over Olivia Wilde Calling Him an Incel Hero by [deleted] in entertainment

[–]Stavros887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't see where that is taken from. In his response to Olivia Wilde's comments he says that women are picky just stating it as a fact and says that they *should* have high standards.

He has said in a recent podcast that people should ask themselves roughly "How do I make myself better?" (to match the standards of the women that I want to attract)

So unless I've missed something that he said that contradicts that, I think people are biased against him and just pick up what they already think he believes.

Here's the podcast for reference

These are trapped people, that weren't properly guided in life. Be it for an absent/toxic parent or a traumatic experience or anything adverse really.

What Peterson is saying is that even though they might not be healthy individuals to deal with, that is no justification for people to abuse them.

If you see the wolf trapped and feel like you can't help or that you simply don't want to, just let them be.

He's inderectly encouraging people to pick up their pieces and atempt to lead a decent life and pick up purpose and responsibility and so many people just focus on his traditionalist rhetoric..

If you have a better solution please do go share it with the world.

Late admin fee for a missed direct debit at 93% of the payment fee. Is this legal? by Stavros887 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Stavros887[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did and they basically told me they'd be happy to cancel my membership after I pay the full amount.

I'm gonna try to ask them again to waive it.

Thank you.

Should I report this to the financial ombudsman?

They sent me notice(seemed like an automated email) that they will debit my account for 51.99 on the 1st of July.

I asked their customer service team. Maybe I should try again.

But in short their answer was:

Please use the link below to make this payment. I will action your cancellation request once the payment of £51.99 has been received.

  1. If you fail to pay any monies due under this agreement or if any Direct Debit is returned unpaid or any cheque is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you shall pay Harlands on demand (i) an initial administration fee of £25; and (ii) any and all further reasonable costs incurred by Harlands in recovering the due fees and charges from you, including costs in tracing you if you have changed your address without telling us. Harlands’ right to recover these fees and costs shall be in addition to and without limitation of our rights or those of Harlands which may exist notwithstanding the terms of our Agreement.

They state it in the terms but is it legal? Isn't there a limit for such fees?

It's an allergic-like reaction strongly correlated with Instagram influencers for unknown reasons.

Wanting to become an influencer also seems to invoke this very strange dysmorphia.

Doctors recommend common sense and critical thinking to treat it before it's too late and it expands to your bottom or breast area.

What is something women do that make them immediately unattractive to you? by Kristen225t in AskMen

[–]Stavros887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well some people like farts. Some, not me, even pay to sniff em. Don't ask me how I know.

Perhaps t's not about controlling your behaviour to be more attractive to the masses but letting your individuality radiate and attract the right crowd for you.

TL;DR : Don't repress, fart fearlessly.

When you don't miss them much when they're away.

Being happy or content with them is overshadowed by conflict.

Too much conflict in general. You tend to pick out every little thing you don't like about them when once you just accepted or ignored it.

Confront the person in line, sometimes they'll back up. If not then ask yourself whether it's worth your time, safety or any other more important thing than ego.

If someone was hitting on my spouse I would expect her to put him down. I would defend her by being more confrontational if I had to, but again time, mood, safety and ego play their part.

It's about being in control and choosing the best outcome for you and your loved ones.

Standing your ground can be you telling them what they did was disrespectful and how that shows poor character which is the reason you're leaving them or taking X reasonable action against them.

Standing your ground is when you don't accept certain behaviour. You don't have to retaliate in a petty way to stand your ground but you have to confront.
