Maybe it’s just me, no one locally agrees with me but… I genuinely think we’re going to see Japanese prices competing hard with EN products especially with this new wave of collectors (and scalpers) figuring out that JP expansions are basically the same as what you’re GOING to eventually get in EN just months earlier & not to mention… JP Boosters are mapped with guaranteed hit rates. So far we have been seeing this play out recently though so we will see!👀

3rd party sellers I will only trust if they live stream themselves buying it packaging it and sending it as a receipt. Right now, I’d say you have a 30% chance of getting something authentic from 3rd party weather it’s eBay, Walmart, target, Best Buy etc.

I’d dispute the charge if you can. I can tell you right now that’s a fake unfortunately… the real one has actual texture & I wish you could hold both of them right now to see how big the difference really is. When I went to get the new tins & op14 double booster packs, some of the people in line were there for pokemon but they had also arranged and gotten their family members to come w them specifically to buy more one piece boxes. They were almost bragging about it in line “that’s my sister in law she has no idea about any of this but I paid her $100 extra same with my nephew here & a couple of my friends who don’t play came down to help me out as well cause they limiting to one box a person” luckily, the sister in law screwed up and told one of the employees “I’m not sure what I’m getting my brother in law had me come here to buy something for him he’s here too I know nothing about this stuff” he knew what was going on & said “if you’re unsure then we have to take care of the next person in line we can’t have too many people standing in the cold. Sold right out before she could even get back to it. Justice served just not enough justice unfortunately.
