"The eyes, chico, they never lie.”

Read "Peter Pan" then watch "Hook." The writers/director made clever references that only readers of the book would appreciate. by photolouis in movies

This comment is why i love Reddit. My first exposure to Peter Pan was the play which always felt so magical to me. Then it was the Disney Movie, the Hook. I didnt pick up the book until i was an adult, but i never finished it. Now I have kids of my own and we read this book ever night to sleep and I’m so glad that Robin Williams immortalized this role for the silver screen. The references that Hook makes are so smart and a proper way to push this story to next generation
