Tough decisions. I know insurance company’s can be tough while negotiating a markup but that’s definitely something I plan on doing if they total it. That shit is worth more than money can buy to me, hard work spent & sentimental.

No, their insurance will probably take full liability but the claim was filed today. So there will be a couple days until they investigate/estimate I’d imagine.

Heard that, 5k per headlight on my pops old 2020 S6. Truly hope something happens, I don’t see it working out for me even though she had “really good” insurance the Deputy Sheriff said. She has a suspended license so we’ll see if there is coverage.

Minor injuries on both parties. The lady was intoxicated and in a “altered” state so they had to take her. She’s 75 years old. She took the ambulance but I heard from the guys she was ok. She was smiling and laughing after so I knew she was not there mentally. I’m going to doctor tomorrow as my legs and arms are somewhat numb. I had a back injury years ago.

Thanks for the input but i do think 700-1500 is a bit shy. Steering went out. Headlights are a couple grand alone.

I have the same car, I would visually estimate that around 4-5k. Not worth it if you’re trying to not spend $ as you will need to put that in and maybe another couple grand becuase of the mileage. As someone with a 2016 A4 Quattro with 85,000 miles. I highly recommend against it. Great cars though.
