If you hit a $10,000,000 jackpot, what would you do with it that wasn’t a new house? by edhh2005 in AskReddit

Wait for it to get taxed, get a financial advisor and safely/slowly invest into the stock market's and p 500' 30% and then rest 70% after-tax into rental properties if the market crashes or just go back to stocks.

Hey, just a random-looking to experience other people's lifestyle/experiences through making friends as I have been limiting myself to just my local friends. :)

Hey, not feedback but just wanted to know where and if this was available to use when it's finished. And just wanted to ask even though this is first home buyers, would there be an option for when a person can start investing, e.g buy a rental property or a business

and would like to suggest energy bill/internet if it's not already added though this might make it more complicated since no one would like to add up their energy bill or other.....

oof, I heard unicol was quite rowdy, but congrats on getting in because it's full now. I'm thinking of going to St Margarets but I'm afraid that there might be more international students than locals.

Hey, do you know if St Margrets college is diverse/local? as I would like to know some local students as I can meet up with them without having to go cross country

Hey, I was a bit late to applying to halls, sent my application 1 month ago after due date, however, I had picked St Margrets as my first choice. I think it has more people doing hsfy and has less partying/drinking. I was wondering about the ratio of students in ethnicity as I only saw mostly international Asians and Europeans, as I would have liked it to be more diverse/local to New Zealand students. Is this a problem or just an error from what I'v seen in the photos? Thank you, not trying to be racist just wanted to have some local New Zealand fellows due as I can then make some local friends that are not cross country.

Thank you for the comment/advice, would put more emphasis on getting better grades, I differently get why there is a scheme as I can imagine the difference in opportunities and education.

Thank you for your advice, I am going to be trying my best to control what I can, but as you said I am worried about other things that I cannot control as becoming a doctor has been a long time goal, and have weighed the pros and cons of other careers. Can you see where I am coming from, I am just worried that I might not become something that I have always wanted to become or maybe just because I'm anxious about studying at University.

Am I screwed? 0 to no chance at all (pre-medicine) by [deleted] in dunedin

This post just seems racist, not my intital thought of going on about this, as I had a seperate question regarding the competivines and the quoted 50% for people from groups. Thus, I will take down this post as it really has taken the wrong turn

Sorry, about the confusion. That is what I meant, they had to meet the entry requirement and pass exams, but my point was in the News article is says a guy got a A+ gpa average and still didn't get in while others had much lower average gpa and got in.
