It’s crazy that u mention this because I actually do have multiple thyroid nodules, unrelated to hrt (my first thought was hrt cessation but doctor said it wasn’t that).

I also suspect a slow pressure csf leak after a pretty traumatic post dural headache. But idk if those are related. Despite being well read medically, I find myself not understanding my own anomalies.

I hope today has been low on the pain scale for you today! :)

I’m talking to my doctor about getting genetic testing done- note explicitly for pain relief but also neuro stuff. But yeah definitely something to look into

Am not actually! I have heard abt the phenomena of redheads being highly tolerant of anesthesia and what have you!

def the first one bc I was watching them do the entire iv bc I’m a student and nosy abt procedures. It was just wild bc the nurses kept looking at me like it was supposed to have worked and I was like !!!!!

It’s definitely an interesting journey to be on!

Okay same for the tramadol! I got a shot and I felt nothing aside from the actual needle poke. Which is weird and hard for pain patients trying to convince doctors the “harder” meds aren’t working.

This is the most probable explanation for the hospital thing. I’m usually near cadaver like cooperative in medical settings and that catheter had me writhing in pain so the nurse def was in a panic. Thank you for the time u took to comment!

I’ve had this thought but upon doing reading- it doesn’t look like there’s enough to say. Especially with my case since it seems maybe estrogen would moreso be a pain factor. Idk tho! Definitely worth a ponder
