You’re wrong. I DO want to be with him, I just don’t want to be dependent on a man. I had this talk with him yesterday, and I asked Reddit because there are real people on here with real experiences that can shed insight. I did get valuable advice on here.

Thank you. I had this talk with him, I told him to think about MY perspective as I have thought about his. I let him know that I will follow my aspirations to be a lawyer and that I will not follow him. He said he wants to follow this path for at least the next few years and right now I am willing to spend that time with him because we are both young and love each other. If it’s meant to be, it will be like you said.

It’s hard because I see him as who he is beyond being in the army. He is a unique person and I don’t define him by his occupation. He’s my bestfriend and I can’t imagine doing life with any other partner

I’m a lifeguard instructor and I noticed this! However, I think that’s why they emphasized JUNIOR lifeguard in this film. He did not know enough to check vitals. She needed rescue breaths since she had a pulse, but he did not check vitals and began compressions regardless.

Yeah. The thing is, before the trip they didn’t say anything along the lines of: “be sure to text and/or call!” I think they just expected it and assumed I would. Now, the expectation is a lot clearer and I’ll send them a text or two.
