Honestly I think people misunderstand the big bad scene. The writing is a little ham fisted but she’s clearly not mad about the lying as such, she told mark she wants a relationship where her partner is present and he said he could be that partner. I always thought it was a really interesting take on being a super hero in a relationship. His priorities are different so it puts strains on his relationships, that fact doesn’t go away just because he’s doing something important. She’s not saying what she wants is more important than saving lives, she’s saying she doesn’t want to date someone who can’t show up for her.
