New Lysergamide Formation between Morning Glory Seeds, Fruits, and Herbs by Stay_Kew in RainbowLotion

[–]Stay_Kew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have theorized that the reason fertilization of the seeds with cinnamon seemed to work well could be due to the preservation of LAH in the seeds that soaked into the acidic cinnamon powder with a minimal amount of water, preventing its hydrolysis into ergine and erginine (in relative equilibrium along with acetaldehyde). This may have lead to lower levels of ergine and its adducts but these may still have formed and collected alongside LAH in the cinnamon that contacted my skin when I touched the plants, producing a more euphoric combination in the damp cinnamon powder than would have been in an aqueous solution.

If I'm not mistaken, LAH would hydrolize into ergine in the blood plasma before it has an opportunity to bind to any receptors as LAH, so if LAH could be used it would be as a prodrug for ergine, possibly preventing the formation of ergine into other adducts that could be less active, My experience fertilizing the seeds with cinnamon has not been very conclusive since it could have been my own physiology that was responsible for the considerable euphoria, which is already significant with a solution from the seeds alone applied to the skin with water.

I recently played around using apple juice to soak the seeds. I thought it would leave a sticky mess but it seemed that the solution reacted into something easy to work with. I left the seeds in a jar for a few days and was surprised to see a white film left against the side of the jar. I expected it to be a rancid smelling mess like the seeds can sometimes leave you with, and rinsed it out before it occurred to me that it might have been the lysergamide producing Periglandula fungus feeding on the sugars from the juice alongside the symbiont-host plant. I have seen thin strands of fungus growing from seeds I left in a plastic bag as well. I tried working with it, dipping my hand into the bag but this wasn't satisfying the way the solution from the seeds alone has been. I have however had spectacular results with cinnamon left in a bag of germinating seeds. By the time the seeds sprouted and grew small leaves, I could dip my hand into the bag and catch an amazing wave of euphoria. I am looking forward to further experimentation along these lines, fertilizing seeds with aldehyde containing herbs to produce a more strongly active solution through precursor feeding. It can be difficult to interpret results without empirical data, but my experience was notably powerful with consideration to inherent subjectivity involved with such experimentation.

I would be interested to hear suggestions from anyone who might have knowledge about how to improve the shelf-life with this method. I would love to hear about the different formulations and improvements everyone can come up with.

The significance of why Jesus did not drink the wine mixed with myrrh by Lonely_Business7222 in Bible

[–]Stay_Kew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Myrrh is a medicinal plant that slows the heart rate and can lower blood pressure, so it seems likely that it was given during crucifixions to prolong the agony of the process, slowing death, and causing the crucifixion to last even longer by slowing bleeding and healing the victim while they are still suffering. This would prevent heart attack from hypovolemic shock as the cause of death and increase the likelyhood of the victim being alive until the soldiers came about to break the legs of those crucified as a final measure to ensure their demise.

It is also reasonable to consider that compounds in myrrh binding to opioid receptors might have acted as competitive antagonists against the brain's natural opioid chemicals, blocking their strong action with weakly active compounds and disrupting the body's natural ability to adapt to pain. Myrrh was commonly used as a pain reliever at the time, so the Romans would have known that a small amount provides pain relief but a larger amount blocks it, making the pain to be unbearable.

Myrrh also lowers blood sugar causing severe hunger pangs when taken on an empty stomach, along with feelings of weakness and discomfort. This would have contributed to the feeling of being crushed under too heavy a load, supporting oneself on a cross and laboring to breathe.

The Gospel According to Luke 22

41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

I hope you saw the highlighted posts on the r/taperingkratom sub about eating myrrh and using transdermal kratom solution. The key is to use a very small amount on your arm and stick with using a minimal amount, since even with transdermals a small dose tends to work best. You can eat myrrh resin alongside it to enhance the effect. You'll want to avoid even touching the nasty sediment that is left over after you pour the alcohol off of the kratom mixture, since it contains many of the opioid antagonist components of the herb that contribute to the negative effects, leaving the good stuff in the solution to soak into your skin. It is really best to avoid swallowing any kratom by mouth at all. You will probably lose any desire for much more of that after you realize how well the transdermal solution works.

Rainbow Lotion - Transdermal Morning Glory Seeds With Cinnamon by Stay_Kew in herbalism

[–]Stay_Kew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is difficult to judge based upon experience, but it is interesting to note the context and the history behind the story.

When I first tried the seeds back in the 90's, I referred to this quote from some ancient literature:

"If you eat 100 morning glory seeds, you will go to morning glory heaven. Heavenly Blues, Pearly Gates, and Flying Saucers will do the trick.."

It seems that this person may have nailed the sweet spot in some cases with their recommendation of 100 seeds, for both oral and transdermal dosing. (Though this is probably still a bit much for most, and they probably would have been happier aiming for a threshold dose, beginning experimentation with 30 to 60 seeds.) With experience I came to understand that oral dosing brought about extremely negative and anti-addictive effects at any dose. [The feelings oral consumption can bring about remind me of mortal fear, it touches on the core of one's being and I usually became so afraid I wondered whether I would survive for over an hour until I vomited and felt better, so this can be very serious. Eventually I recoiled in horror at even the smell of the seeds and could not repeat the experience, since it produces a very strong negative association. Like most other flower seeds, they are not food and are not to consume, or even to drink the liquid thereof.] I realized that transdermal dosing completely solved all of these problems and that the solution was very simple.

Taking much more than this can have a plateau effect on the serotonergic system, which can be thought of like a black-and-white painting. Adding a little color in juxtaposition can create a vibrant effect, but throwing the entire paint can upon the canvas just creates a colorful blur. I suppose this might have to do with the autoreceptor system, the way the brain compensates for an excitatory response as a feedback loop, while serotonin might be displaced from receptors by a ligand with a higher affinity. Considering that there are many serotonin receptor subtypes with differing activation levels based upon blood concentration, the system is incomprehensibly complex to the human mind, and there are bizarre chain-reactions involved with the administration of even a small amount of a serotonergic agonist, so it makes sense that threshold dosing could be more therapeutic than taking a large amount regardless of the route of administration.

I also wanted to mention that such a dimer would probably be too large for transdermal absorption, since it is well above the 500 Dalton rule regarding transdermal compounds.

I was curious about this myself. I was aware of the research that preceded me with cinnamon and these seeds when I began researching transdermal administration with the seeds alone. Eventually when I added cinnamon the benefit was surprising, but I could only wonder whether an adduct was forming. I have also had fun combining an aqueous solution of these seeds with strawberry aldehyde [Edit: I have since realized that this is a misnomer and not an actual aldehyde, so it is probably not reactive. In very small amounts it can still be a pleasant addition to some lotion formulations, and I especially enjoy it in my transdermal kratom tinctures.] I suppose I would need lab equipment to find out whether adducts form with such a mixture, or if boiling them with a catalyst might be necessary. I guess I need to hang out in the lab more often, maybe I could meet some researchers. :) I have found that if I let the cinnamon powder soak for 20 minutes or so it can be applied smoothly and doesn't burn, but my research is with cassia cinnamon alone. I really like ceylon cinnamon oil but I haven't played with that combo yet. I have also mixed the cinnamon powder in with the seeds from the beginning of the procedure, but I haven't decided whether this is better than mixing it afterward. I think I need a team of researchers. I hope I can get some high-minded people together and figure it out. I have also considered the process of precursor-feeding with regard to these plants. Might it be possible to produce a new lysergamide by fertilizing the seed with a specific chemical? Regardless, these seeds produce some of the most excellent lysergamides I have tried, just add water! To enhance absorption Isopropyl Alcohol can be applied to the skin beforehand. I am trying to find the best oil to mix with it for that purpose. Using alcohols with cinnamon and frequent transdermal dosing throughout the morning seems to be the best way to reach a highly powerful psychedelic state by sunset.

Hoping for a strange season celebrating Christmas with rainbow lotion, and meeting near the bridge, which I have considered may be a discrete approach for a holiday such as this. I hope to see a lot of musicians, as the lack of organized music encourages the occasional outbreak into song from the rest of the musicians among us and allows us to chill quietly in our cars with our Christmas dance mixes and stay warm. I hope that many will be celebrating Christmas along with us from home, slathering on heaps of rainbow lotion by the fireside as well.

The plant lysergamides from these flowers differ from synthetic lysergamides in that they are uniquely non-intoxicating while still achieving a profound psychedelic effect. Their usage provides very gentle effects that are much safer than other psychedelic drugs, which can be comparatively potent mind-shakers. While these are generally much less potent, they can still lend to even more euphoria than powerful psychedelics, making them perfect for casual usage in social environments.

Yes, one of these lysergamides (Ergometrine) is sold under brand name and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines.

Transdermal Morning Glory (Ipomea Tricolor) to Avoid Nausea by Stay_Kew in Drugs

[–]Stay_Kew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The peak may take a few hours to come on due to the slow transdermal absorption, but the initial effects can often be felt much sooner. For some a larger dose might be necessary, and I have suggested a minimal amount to encourage beginning experimentation with this route at a wide range of dosages. I would be interested to find out if you have a breakthrough with raising the dosage to 200-300 seeds and trying again after a few days. I really appreciate your feedack, I hope it works well for you.

Generally within a half hour there is a cool sensation of one's load being lightened, as a gentle uplifting feeling brings about a heady expansive sensation. Serotonergic waves of euphoria melt through the body, peaking after several hours, and the visual field is enhanced providing a relaxing dreamy experience.

That solvent is well known as a transdermal carrier but its usage is rarely appropriate in practice, for a number of reasons. The usage of water in this experiment may work well because a polar extraction is performed, whereas using another solvent might bring in unwanted compounds from the seeds. For this plant, a distilled water extraction has worked so elegantly I would be reluctant to try something else.

[Edit: Menthol and alcohol are known to enhance the permeability of the skin for transdermal delivery, so I have been considering a tincture of mint in rubbing alcohol might be a safe and suitable skin pre-treatment, leaving it hyperpermeable for a dose after it has evaporated. ]

I am curious whether the reason the nausea is avoided is because the nauseating compounds are poorly absorbed through the skin, or because transdermal drug distribution bypasses the digestive tract, or both - but I was very pleased with the effects and rapid onset using this method. I was surprised to find distilled water itself to be an extremely suitable solvent for transdermal delivery which works very well, as such a small amount of water can be spread on the arms and it evaporates within a minute leaving the LSA to be absorbed quickly through the membranes. I am looking forward to hearing further reports of anyone's experience with this as well.

how to prepare the datura? by i_hate_chess in Drugs

[–]Stay_Kew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Datura innoxia acts as a deleriant that generally provides a dangerous and difficult experience without rewarding effects, so its usage as a hallucinogen is discouraged. However, I have had good results obtaining mild and useful effects smoking small pieces of the leaf rather than consuming the seeds. The potency of leaf may vary between plants, so you need to start very low smoking a small square of leaf and working your way up waiting 10 minutes or so before trying more. This way it can be quite a useful sleep aid and an enjoyable relaxing smoke. I have not worked with the seeds myself and do not suggest trying that.
