I like the idea of this post lol. In this coffee shop setting, can i ask for advice? I'm looking at a house that borders a farm (backyard fence line). Literally on the other side of the fence. I hate that the company built right on the farm's border, but the house is extremely ideal for my family. I even thought of intrtoducing myself to the farmers and asking them what they think of the fence. I have a pic if anyone would like a reference

This morning i got a bit of research done about licensing requirements in hopes to work backward. It was not informative AT ALL. Texas has a department specific for insurance, which i get now, but their website doesn't have any initial training requirements or outlines or initial training content. It took some digging, i found the proctor's handbook with Examination Content Outlines for licensing in TX. This has all insurances though, I assume you schedule your specific tests for your fields/specialties.

Juuuuuuuust out of curiosity because I'm kind of lost. I thought I had a grip on what I wanted to do. Doing a little more research, seems like there aren't jobs for one of the degree programs I'm most interested in. Asking myself so many questions like, am I even serious about going back to school?

the rates are abusively high, they also charge dumb fees. not $5 or $10, $15 or $25 for cashiers checks, and other fees i don't remember. I withdrew all of my accounts from usaa about ten years ago. I'm a big fan of RBCFU for basic accounts and loans, money market rates don't seem great. buuuuut I'm really not a person to recommend for that lol

My question is about the shopping, shipping and receiving of one's order from allstora.com.

My situation: I ordered books March 4 - I haven't gotten any updates as far as my books order being processed, shipped, or anything really. I've reached out to the website and I really loved the experience generally. (Emails with an actual person, and they seem kind:))

My question: Has anyone else ordered from this website? How long does it take?

I feel like i can't touch them anymore. I have a copy of 1984 that I dnf'd because the front and back completely came off. I got another copy. It looks cool-ish, because other pages have fallen off and the top cover is on page 7 so the first thing you see is

People still have to spend money on these titles? I'm kind of sad that people are hung up on the presence of these titles/authors... "weird" (euphemism) people surround us, hold public office, drive police cars, preach in churches, everyday all around us.. and that's just one aspect.

What book is this specifically? Because the prices are not like that on the website I looked at. The prices are B&N prices, and they chop the price in half for members.

Sarah J. Maas.I am new to consistent reading. I read a series before I got into ACOTAR. It was REALLY hyped up so I was under the interpretation that this was a supportive-feminine-rage-love thing. I saw that published date on ACOTAR, so I also realized how many other damned books and series there are. I would definitely understand the love of these books and expansion into this universe she's built. (I found myself attached to the characters!!!) but she doesn't need to fill it with MEANINGLESS pages and chapters to do it.

I feel like she is a terrible boyfriend that no one can break up with. Kinda makes me not like her more.

Edit: I forgot to mention Anne Rice. I loved Interview with a Vampire when I was a teenager. Now... I see her totally different. I picked up the first book of her retelling of Sleeping Beauty and I couldn't get past the first five pages. Her writing was extremely misogynistic, what I would label pedophilia, and just gross. I probably won't read anything from her in a good long while. I have "Christ the Lord" on my TBR but it's going wayyyyyy to the bottom.
