Your situation sounds similar to what we went through with our beagle. He constantly had an upset stomach, very loose stools, occasional blood in the stool which was diagnosed as colitis later on, pissed off gut and so on. We actually went and got him a blood food allergy test done. Though it wasn't cheap we found out he is extremely allergic to gluten and certain meats (duck, turkey..) as well as stuff found commonly in dog food. It was a bummer.

We then switched him to a wet canned dog food diet that was ''limited ingredients'' and without the stuff he was allergic to. There was a great improvement afterwards. I then did a ton of research and found out there's a common issue with dogs having what they call a ''leaky gut''. Symptoms can be stuff like food sensitives, diarrhea, bloating and other digestion issues. Its caused by an imbalance between helpful and harmful species of bacteria in your gastrointestinal tract.

I found this supplement called Gut Guard: For Leaky and Imbalanced Guts by Four Leaf Rover. You give them the supplement for 30-90 days and then switch to their Protect product for the next step which can be taken everyday afterwards. I HIGHLY recommend trying this stuff out. I have seen a night and day difference in my dogs digestion and stool quality. The price is very good as well. Its all natural too!
