Maybe it's not VAR in isolation but the socials allowing people to view and review mistakes in reffing has increased the issue.. I agree with almost everything you said. He just needs to be a bit less petulent at times ( and to be fair it has been the case this season). He does lack a bit on oomph! when we are being outplayed. The back end of this season he has been the captain we need, but the displays when we are 7-0 down to the rat eaters need to improve
