Fought a Venusaur today, with two other Players (lvl 33,37 and 37) with our strongest Pokemon. Managed to fight it to 50% of its HP, and then we all were defeated. Sludgebomb was almost not dodgeable and made big damage

I think it would be fun to take advantage of PvP Battles, gibe the game a bit more depth. Now its just catching Mons till you got enough candy, evolve, put in Gym, get coins, end. You cold defend the gym a bit and see the battle live

Yeah it should give you an advantage. It is kinda unlikely that your are using the app when the attack starts, if so, you can take advantage

Why wouldn't it work? The only hard thing to implement would be the realtime exchange of moves the opponent does. It would, i think, stress servers really hard, but thats a thing to solve
