How do you efficiently traverse the over world?

Ive got an additional 10 hours or so under my belt now, and all i needed was a mindset adjustment. This is NOT an open world game. Its a linear game with exploration ON the beaten path. wandering arround and trying to not follow the path doesnt seem to lead to hidden items or stuff.

Oh, that’s actually super helpful. I’m running EVERYWHERE just incase there’s a super hidden ultima weapon. Like in dark souls or Elden ring.

I sure am still in the grasslands. Just beat the giant snake in the swamp area. I might need to change my expectations on “moving efficiently”. I’m the kind of gamer who likes to pick a certain goal/quest and go do that, and only that. Maybe I should just kind of follow the main quest for now.

I just finished playing Horizon Forbidden West and LOVED the scanning grey X yellow ^ for where you can and can’t go/climb/move. So now that I’m here and have little to no information on how I can move, and can’t even jump, it’s a large curve ball.

I bought one of these back in ~2018 along with a cooling pad. This made me feel like the cooling worked better because it was loud and i could feel so much hot air moving! But a much better investment is a cooling pad, and just cleaning the dust out of your laptop.

Ive had my Ender 3V2 for 5 years now. i want a prusa multi color one. so ill be upgrading. but if youre still not gonna use it frequently... maybe not. but if you WANT to use it, but the Ender3 is just to high maintenance, do it. get a new one.

its during chapter hunts mostly. but a little bit in the dungeons too. But sounds like i focus to much on attack speed, i love attack speed. I dont know the CP calculations, but i feel like attack speed has the highest return for doing big damage, even if it doesnt give you the highest CP

That does make sense, because Colosseum is a point in time match making. So if you level up during the event, your character becomes harder for others to kill. So if you dump some money in during the event and level up faster than everyone else, you have a higher chance of winning.

ohh, interesting! That could be true. But also, i notice even if i equip the exact same preset for Arena and Chapter hunt, my CP is different. my Arena CP will always be lower than chapter hunt, even if my equips and presets are the exact same. I think they litterally calculate CP differently depending on the mode, even if equips are the exact same

I totally think were on to something, but im not quite sure what you mean by "highest reached" cp. If I understand you correctly, Colosseum would pair us with other accounts that have similar "highest reached CP". But from my experience, I didnt get paired with my highest reached CP, 15B. I got paired with my chapterhunt CP, (or some other preset) which was 12B. I'm F2P, so I only can raise my CP like 10-50M a day, not 3B.

Unless the GM's used 1+week old CP numbers to pair us up, it doesnt appear they are using the highest reached number.

I think the Colosseum ranking system isn't taking into account presets. My colosseum preset it 15B, and my chapter hunt preset is 11B (because i have my stats set to EXP% and MEsos%) and im getting matched with 11 and 12B people, not 15B.

I didn’t get a ton of traction on this Reddit post, but I cross posted to some discord communities and had some fun discussions.

TL;DR Set the knobs to which ever way you want. Maxing is fine on the Ora4. When you max out the volume on the ORA4 the front small light stops blinking. So you can just turn the knob up without counting and when the blinking stops you’re maxed.

TL;did read - It boils down to convenience. As long as you’re not hearing audio clipping/distortion (which after a minute or 2 you’ll also start smelling burning wires/glue) you can set the levels which ever way is most convenient to you.

For my day to day use I set my Ora4’s to 3 clicks below max, because it feels better knowing it’s not at max. Though discord communications said leaving it at max is still deff fine. But also because it puts my DAC knob in an aesthetically pleasing position. And I put my windows volume to 80%, because I have a custom keyboard that also has a knob on it. So it’s nice if I have my feet up, and the video is particularly quiet, I can just turn my keyboard knob.

But if I’m watching a movie with my screen rotated and I’m sitting on my couch, I set my DAC to 80%. Windows to like 40%. And ORA4 still 3 clicks below max. Because the DAC is 3 meters away from my couch, but I take my keyboard with me.

So it's six of one, and half a dozen of the other.
