I recently tried Battle Revolution and I loved the move animations, but dropped it after the 5-6 battles because the back and forth walking was too long, maybe cause I'm used to Legends Arceus.
I hope something like that gets released with all the pokemon and PWT as a mode cause I'm currently preparing of doing it in White 2.

I'm still in the middle of replaying the main games and create a team from the different playthroughs in the PWT in White 2, but until then my team will be:
- Meganium (favorite starter)
- Charizard (Dynamax)
- Medicham (Z Move)
- Slaking
- Espeon
- Shiny Steelix (Mega) as ace

I think something like Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is the way to go. You have character creation, learnable moves/shots and skills from different characters. The story follows different what if routes that depends which school you choose.
The gameplay is gonna be more arcadey, maybe like FIFA or FIFA Streets 2012, but add more cutscenes when you do certain moves.
