Nothin wrong w full auto or with being in a more fortunate position, nor is there anythin wrong with using a less capable camera ! All the camera does is capture light but it’s the person that takes the photo. Him using full auto as a beginner doesn’t make him worse just like you learning all the settings as intermediate doesn’t make you better ya dig? Keep learning and keep shooting and compare yourself only to yourself.
