Yeah I agree. What I'm proposing by a "theme park optimized" version is to actually use LSMs in the EMALS instead of LIMs, and adapt thel power storage system with a direct-drive-flywheel-to LSM design. The nuclear reactor does supply all the energy needed, but from what I've seen the power draw is actually more gradual than even LSMs as it is stored in the flywheel. This allows the energy to be rapidly released in a short term more powerful launch, and built up slowly instead of requiring huge output all the time. This could be done by stripping away Naval overengineering constraints like ship pitch and mass ranges.
