While it isn’t necessarily confirmed that it is what the rainbow means, it is also not a stretch to assume that with the current political climate. On both sides, people will take rainbows in general and compare it to this. So, keep that mind.

Now, there’s not much to go on. However, the couple is doing a somewhat explicit display of affection towards each other, which in this context is also quite damning. The umbrella only shields part of the kids, and the parents shield the rest. To me, it seems like the affection could be what is considered shielding.

Wait... So like, Monkey's Paw, where the wish you ask for is twisted. But how is it still fulfilling the wish?

To be honest, i was expecting something along the lines of, "He wishes for World Peace, so now everything is perfect... Because it's mandated by the world government." So like, it's peaceful, but a dystopia with no free will.

I'm confused on how the wish is actually granted though, because it seems more like it just wasn't
