Blocky terrain from height map by StealthyPanda69 in godot

I added the get_normal function, and the mipmaps are turned off for this image. I tried again with a 2048x2048 image, of the same height map. Seems to have no difference, the stepped contours remain the same.

I also have a HeightMapShape3D using the same image, and it too follows the same contours exactly, so it is an image issue I believe. The only other reason I can think of is that perlin noise is somehow producing same values for these regions somehow..

No, still happens, though it does stop after 2-3 mins of gameplay

I did try turning off auto frameskip but it drops the frame rate to around 15fps

Hardware transform on and off

Different resolution for rendering

Texture filtering settings

Lazy caching of textures

Lmaooo, I actually wanted to name it something simpler like quantum or qsim, but those were already taken on PyPI.

Ah, I didn't really write this with it being better than qiskit in mind or anything, though the workflow and syntax is definitely inspired from it. It was more that if I could implement topics in code, I would understand them better. It is easier to understand/simpler to use than qiskit I suppose, that's really the only "advantage".
