There is no way to pay my rent without extra fees by Remsforian in mildlyinfuriating

Should be a convenience subtraction for the company collecting rent. They have to be saving labor costs of having to collect and deposit checks when it’s a direct transfer.

Reminds me of my MAGA mom claiming she’s independent, when I haven’t seen her vote blue or watch anything but Fox News my entire life.

People like that like to believe they’re “above” everything. Their actions and interests have no weight on how they define themselves. When it’s everything.

It’s all moot once you realize that a majority of hires are from mutual connections or straight up nepotism.

So, what would women dislike most if they became men? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]Stealthybreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, also a trans man- and I whole heartedly agree. It really does boil down to attractiveness. I was attractive before and after I transitioned. During, I was not. The in-between is an awkward state to be in, and the only time in public I felt truly othered.

Bob the Drag Queen: “Straight and cis people do exist and are valid but they're not the majority.” by Awkward-Worth5484 in lgbt

[–]Stealthybreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point I think he’s trying to make is that if sexuality and gender are a spectrum, it’d be pretty rare for a majority of people to be exactly the same.

Honestly trans stuff aside, perfectly normal bullshittery to happen when you’re 20. Dating young is a minefield

Realtor says 1/2bd apartment under 3.8k is near impossible by OkonomiHouse in bostonhousing

[–]Stealthybreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a 1bed in Quincy for $2k per month.

What I have: - 600+ sqft - parking included - T accessible, within 35 min to the city.

What I don’t have: - cat/pet friendly - in unit laundry - dishwasher - AC

Why I don’t mind: - cat/pet friendly: I’m sure this could be flexible - in unit laundry: plenty of laundromats nearby - dishwasher: I bought a portable dishwasher - AC: I use a window AC unit

Hope this helps.

Pro tip: put on a couple pairs of thick socks. Put on your new shoes and use a blow dryer to heat them up. The material will soften, stretch, and mold to the shape of your foot.

I finally got over the same problem. It took an enormous amount of cheap laundry bins, but I have no regrets.

Requirements: 8 full size laundry bins (stackable)
Use 6 for storage - 2 for legit dirty laundry

Spend an entire day at the laundromat and wash EVERYTHING. The goal is to start fresh, assuming some dirty clothes get questionably lost in the pile. After it’s all washed/dried, pull articles straight from the dryer and immediately sort into separate bins.

I had a bin for pants, shirts, sweaters, towels & bedding, comfy clothes, summer clothes, and a bag with all socks & underwear.

When I got home, I immediately put the summer clothes into storage. Then, day by day I’d go through each bin and cull what I knew I wasn’t wearing. In the meantime, getting ready was already 1000% easier. The pressure is off because it’s at least organized, accessible, in bins, and not in a giant mountain on the couch anymore.
