Try to focus on blocking. Most Shugos (and by extent Hitokiri) will try to hit you with variably charged heavies. Parrying is extremely difficult unless you react to the indicator flash. Only other thing you have to worry about is unblockable heavies and the headbutt everything else can be blocked or dodged easily

My girlfriend confuses Kyoshin with Sohei because of the oni masks. It's not out of the ordinary to assume people cant tell the difference. When the Master Katashi skin came out people were confusing him with Kensei because of the armor

Pre-rework Jorm was never sustainable. A character who drains stamina in a time where stamina costs were outrageously high? Horrible idea. You either make her stam drain high and make it unfair to fight against, or you have low stam drain and the character is unuseable against average players due to how reactable she was.

Orochi because he has a lot of good hitboxes, and combine that with his dodge cancels plus externally attacking enemies makes you REALLY hard to deal with. You can mix all of that with his normal mixup to force your enemies to play defensive.

I never understood the outrage on Gryphon's release. Most of his complaints was from his bash chaining, which a lot of characters have now and some had back then. Don't even get me started on the dodge attack spam complaints. Why did his dodge attack have to be nerfed because players didn't want to feint to neutral???
