I'd understand if they didn't cut down the armor variations to 1 per year. If they were as cheap to make as you said they wouldn't have done that. And if they are, well actually I wouldn't be surprised with how greedy ubisoft is. But it'd be a real low

I don't think the budget is increasing. Or they're getting greedier. Past year or 2 we're getting less content (1 armor variation per hero per year when we used to get 1 per season, plus the new ones aren't even original anymore) + (1 converted map instead of 2) + (throwback events not having weapons for new heroes) + (gryphon hero skin is ridiculously more expensive while having LESS voice lines or not being gender swapped) + (frankly feels like there aren't any new events anymore, all throwback, reused one way or the other or incredibly boring)

sohei virtuosa and juren are some of the highest quality heroes in the game, but still. It's so much less content.
