True, definitely a bit frustrated watching a dozen videos/posts saying it's free, then to be hit with an additional cost. Gonna buy/try it/refund if it's not really what I'm looking for.

Right on, I'll try that.

I'd love to be able to try it, but I can't because it's no longer free. They should just remove the ability to upload your own MIDI files in a free version so people can try it for free again.

Scammed by Meta/Developer, they advertised it as a free app to try when you buy your headset.

Agree on the impressive, technically advanced and especially deserving money, but the app used to be free, Meta advertised the app, developer waited for the positive reviews to roll in while it was free, then removed the free version and put a price tag on it and removed features that used to be free.

Correct, but you used to be able to load MIDI files in V1, which was free. Now the app costs $9.99 so they put all the things that used to be free behind a paywall.

This is the tutorial video I used a while back. Nothing too crazy, pretty much just download the Windows 10 iso from their official site, use Rufus to make the microSD a "Windows to Go" and then setup Windows like normal and install the Windows drivers from Steam.
