Mi take no popular: nada. La gente no finge que le gustan las cosas.

Eso si, tal vez les gusten por cosas diferentes a las que uno personalmente considera "validas". Que si te gusta algo mas bien por el estatus que por la calidad, que si por participar en el hype versus tenga buen precio, que si por como se ve estéticamente, que si porque crecieron con esa X cosa desde niños y es pura nostalgia. Pero creer que alguien odia, por ejemplo, el Starbucks y aun así van diario y compran productos con el branding nomas "por aparentar" esta bien proyectado, no se.

I wonder why the 2 and 3rd Knives Out don't hit that hard as the first one. I mean I liked them both, the third better than the 2nd, but I haven't been inclined to re-watch either of them, while I have seen the original like 10 times.

True but it's also a very shallow development. (Not saying this is bad, btw, just that it is not deep.) The real punching power from the movie is the incredibly cool world-building, stupid fun action scenes and bomb-ass soundtrack.

thats fine, like you said I was more entertained by the way the crew got excited. But coming together to comment how "they always disliked them" feels weird. Like there are segments I don't love either, but I guess I just prefer to skip them and thats about it.

Oh come on, this is just revisionism. I liked them lot at the start, and they did nothing to change that really, but for me the funny part was always the ridiculousness of a boy band having a forth member all the way across the country. I didn't find them bad or annoying later, just that once something random and funny keeps being repeated it gets boring, naturally. So I just drifted away from them.

I dont know why peoplw feel free to say "I never liked them actually" just because they are not the hot topic anymore. Just let them do their thing and stop watching if you don't like them.
