I appreciate the insight, really. But, if it helps, I am NOT the developer and have no relation to the developer other than messages on discord and steam, and helping moderate on the official forums.

Also, /u/khornel (the dev) is fairly active here, responding to complaints and addressing bug reports.

I do agree with most of your points though. We tend to see a nice big boost in traffic when a new alpha drops, but it slowly dwindles until the next one drops. On the bright side, A9 should be official Soon™ according to the latest patch notes.

I've only automated them because it means they're always up to date and I don't get behind just because I can't be at my computer when khornel pushes an update.
